About I Wish I Knew

What this is

I Wish I Knew is a collection of approachable explanations of things that are useful, interesting, confusing or surprising: how electricity gets to your house, what an amp is, why a fridge does not make cold.

You are perfectly capable of understanding all of it. Nobody explained it properly.

How it works

Every explainer starts with the short version, then explains why, then goes deeper if you want to. Use Surprise me to wander, or search for the thing you never understood.
